For the last 15 years we have had the sole hunting rights on Glenburn Station, a 16,000 acre sheep and beef station on the Wairarapa coast. The station is comprised of fertile farmland and forestry with the balance of native scrub filled valleys with clearings and tracks throughout. Situated on the Pacific Coast there is 15 miles of private ocean frontage abundant with rock lobster, abalone and fish. The hills are alive with Red deer, Fallow deer and wild boar. Typically during the roar hunters can expect to see 50+ stags in a 5 day hunt. This is as good as it gets for free range hunters wanting an adventure and mixed bag hunting experience!
Below is a short video from the 2012 roar of what you can expect to experience during the peak of the roar...
Here is some great free range red stag hunting footage from a group of guys that have been hunting with us every roar for a few years. A great mates getaway for a week and always a heap of laughs! They put together this video form the 2014 roar to preserve the memories and were happy for me to share it with you. Hope you enjoy!

What clients say...
"This property is as good as it gets if your looking for quality free range Red stags. Brent and I looked at over 100 stags on my 5 day hunt. The country is magic to glass and very scenic. I thought 40” royal stags were a thing of the past but we killed a monster! 42” long and nearly 40” wide and scored 308 Douglas. A dream stag for me after many years of trying elsewhere. Thanks to Brent for all his hard work and Adrian & Wendy for their usual hospitality. I would highly recommend this hunt to anyone."
